NRG ASA 180 is product based on a polymer designed to prevent solids sedimentation in oilwell cement slurries. By developing strong low-shear viscosity and significant pseudoplastic behaviour, it suspends weighting agents, filler particles, and cement grains, eliminating free water, density stratification, and segregation.
NRG ASA-180 is effective at temperatures up to 180 °C (356 °F). When combined with conventional dispersants and fluid loss additives, it ensures slurry homogeneity and reliable zonal isolation in high-density and high-temperature cementing operations.
